There hasn’t been much opportunity for rookies on the 2015-16 Oklahoma City Thunder.  But, when you’re playing for an NBA title, that makes perfect sense.  21-year old point guard Cameron Payne has been solid when he gets to play.  He has played in 44 games (0 starts) for the Thunder so far this year and he is averaging 11.5 minutes, 5.0 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.  But, since the All-Star break, Payne has not played too much.  He has played in 7 games (0 starts) since the All-Star break and he is averaging 8.0 minutes, 2.9 points, 1.0 rebound and 0.9 assists per game.  24-year old small forward Josh Huestis hasn’t played for the Thunder yet in his career.  He has played in 18 games (all starts) for the Oklahoma City Blue of the D-League in which he is averaging 32.2 minutes, 12.3 points, 5.7 points, 0.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots per game.  He has now played in 62 games (61 starts) in his first two years in the D-League and he is averaging 32.9 minutes, 10.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.5 blocked shots per game.
